Fundraising Success Stories
In 2024, we brought together communities of shared interest to reflect on the ways Carleton and its supporters drive change in key cause areas. By highlighting the Carleton faculty, staff, students and alumni leading impactful efforts in these areas, we sparked dialogue aimed at building solutions to shared challenges.

Giving Tuesday 2024
Each year on Giving Tuesday, our community comes together to champion Carleton-led initiatives that reflect their own vision for higher education. These contributions play a vital role in empowering students and researchers to advance causes that improve our shared future. Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, $581,472 was raised in just 24 hours through FutureFunder.ca—supporting impactful projects that shape a better tomorrow for us all.

Women in Sport
Raising awareness and recognition of women athletes, the Women in Sport campaign highlighted recent successes, while acknowledging the work to be done to level the playing field. This included eight stories featuring female student-athletes, coaches and leaders at Carleton who are breaking down barriers in the world of sport and beyond. Our donor community came together to support this initiative by providing funds to advance equity and accessibility in our athletics programs across campus, empowering women athletes and coaches to gain further opportunities in their sport.

Women in Philanthropy
Through the Women in Philanthropy initiative, Carleton seeks to produce and share research and analysis that is useful to the work of women in philanthropy, facilitate mutual learning among women changemakers from different communities and backgrounds and advance broader awareness. Uncovering more about why, where and how women give, and the ways in which they differ from their male counterparts, and from one another, is crucial to understanding the philanthropic sector and creating lasting change for the future.
